Description

The Letting Agent assumes the vital role of overseeing and leasing a portfolio of properties on behalf of our clients. This entails close collaboration with property owners and tenants to facilitate a smooth leasing process, spanning from property listing to the move-in phase.

Responsibilities
  1. Develop compelling property listings accompanied by high-quality photographs for effective publication.
  2. Utilize diverse advertising channels, including online listings, social media, and local newspapers, to promote available properties.
  3. Screen potential tenants through comprehensive background checks, verifying rental history, employment status, and financial stability.
  4. Coordinate and conduct property viewings, addressing prospective tenant inquiries and highlighting key property features.
  5. Facilitate the collection of rent payments on behalf of property owners and implement late payment penalties as needed.
  6. Draft, review, and execute lease agreements, clearly outlining terms such as rent amounts, security deposits, and maintenance responsibilities.
  7. Perform periodic property inspections to assess conditions and ensure adherence to lease terms.
  8. Stay informed on relevant housing laws and regulations to maintain compliance.
  9. Initiate and oversee eviction proceedings for tenants who violate lease terms or fail to meet rental obligations.
  10. Effectively manage emergencies, including property damage, security breaches, or tenant crises.
Qualifications
  • Relevant Qualification:
    • While a related qualification is advantageous, it is not mandatory.
  • Spoken English Proficiency:
    • Possess a strong command of spoken English at a good standard.
  • Social and Communication Skills:
    • Demonstrate excellent social and communication skills.
  • Drafting Abilities:

Experience
  • Minimum of 6 months experience required in a similar business environment.
