Description
The Letting Agent assumes the vital role of overseeing and leasing a portfolio of properties on behalf of our clients. This entails close collaboration with property owners and tenants to facilitate a smooth leasing process, spanning from property listing to the move-in phase.
Responsibilities
- Develop compelling property listings accompanied by high-quality photographs for effective publication.
- Utilize diverse advertising channels, including online listings, social media, and local newspapers, to promote available properties.
- Screen potential tenants through comprehensive background checks, verifying rental history, employment status, and financial stability.
- Coordinate and conduct property viewings, addressing prospective tenant inquiries and highlighting key property features.
- Facilitate the collection of rent payments on behalf of property owners and implement late payment penalties as needed.
- Draft, review, and execute lease agreements, clearly outlining terms such as rent amounts, security deposits, and maintenance responsibilities.
- Perform periodic property inspections to assess conditions and ensure adherence to lease terms.
- Stay informed on relevant housing laws and regulations to maintain compliance.
- Initiate and oversee eviction proceedings for tenants who violate lease terms or fail to meet rental obligations.
- Effectively manage emergencies, including property damage, security breaches, or tenant crises.
Qualifications
- Relevant Qualification:

- Spoken English Proficiency:

- Social and Communication Skills:

Experience
- Minimum of 6 months experience required in a similar business environment.
